About

D.C. Dador (she/her) is a Filipino American author who enjoys weaving her heritage into her tales. Growing up, she accidentally disturbed a dwende’s ant hill home and suffered the consequences when the spiteful spirit cursed her with temporary hair loss. Fortunately, one of her Filipino aunties was able to find a cure!

Her short stories have been published by Haunt Publishing and Outland Entertainment (forthcoming). She was a finalist on the reality TV shot pilot “America’s Next Great Author,” produced by Kwame Alexander and the Book Doctors. She is a conference co-chair for the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic Region.
D.C. resides in Virginia where she is a government relations specialist and enjoys exploring historic (sometimes haunted) sites with her family. She is represented by Tara Gonzalez at Erin Murphy Literary Agency.
